Client: Terry Tincher for
The Boatyard in Sarasota
Problem: Tough real estate market. The client and his wife had purchased several condominiums in an upscale neighborhood in Sarasota on the intracoastal waterway. They had invested a good deal of money in the luxury redesign of the units and had listed the property with Sotheby's for several months, but they were unhappy with the lack of interest generated from Sotheby's generic web page and the lackluster efforts of the realtor.
Solution: Appeal specifically to boating enthusiasts by emphasizing the property's waterfront amenities and nautical style. In order to create gorgeous photos of the recently redesigned units, the surrounding waterfront property (boat docks, pool, views of the intracoastal) as well as the local beaches, shopping, museums and other area attractions, Jason remained on location for several days. He shot each of the units at different times of day in order to achieve the best lighting; he arrived and departed from the property via boat; and made trips to the local beaches and other area attractions-- to truly get into what would make living in these luxury waterfront units on the intracoastal so special. The peaceful waterfront feel really comes across in the web site.
