Brand and market a new veterinary practice for success
When the founders of AWC Athens / Animal Wellness Center of Athens, Doctors Angela Dodd and Lisa Stacy, contacted Thrasher Photo + Design, they needed to quickly brand, launch and market their new veterinary practice— without contacting any of their (previous) beloved clients who they’d worked with for over a decade at another local practice.
We created a complex illustrated logo which clearly said cat and dog for Animal Wellness Center of Athens, where you and your pets are family and a simple logo for AWC Athens for the easy-to-type and easy-to-remember domain name, AWCAthens.com. We designed signage for the location marquee, entry/roof, doors and interiors. We took great photos which we used in an advertising campaign both online and in print, and a media release with e-press kit.
Flash forward a few years: AWC has added a third doctor and a dozen employees to their practice, plus services for dental, surgical, boarding, grooming and pet care products. Their website 2.0 features their hundreds of happy clients, both furry and human. To say the practice is thriving is an understatement! Now, if we could just get the doctors to take a vacation…
